EPISODE 87: Quiet The Mind and Access Inner Intelligence with NeuroDynamic Breathwork

Episode 87: Michael Stone

BREATH. Your connection to life.

But did you know how much more your body and overall wellbeing benefits from that breath?

From Michael Stone’s own experience, breathwork has led him to awakening and even love–of himself, others and life.

With breathwork, you access inner intelligence and your brain’s built in mechanism to heal. It helps people to feel they do have the answers within, that they have resources, and feel self-empowered and able to access creativity and intuition.

Breathwork, in general, is deeper breathing. But it’s not the inflow of oxygen that does the magic. It’s when you decrease the amount of carbon dioxide in the body.

As a natural mechanism, the body recreate carbon dioxide making the blood more alkaline. As the blood gets more alkaline, it’s what creates the shifts in the brain activities, such as quieting the default mode network (DMN).

When the DMN is taken offline, the inhibitions are released giving you a healing experience from some of the things that have been long suppressed.

Michael Stone’s NeuroDynamic Breathwork is a combination of physiological, psychological and carefully curated music to allow the breathwork experience to happen.

Discover NeuroDynamic Breathwork as non-directive modality for quieting the DMN, for healing, unrestricted experience and transformation.

Finding love, Discovering breathwork

I realized that the reason I’m not allowing myself to go deep into relationships is the unconscious decision in my head that the world is an unsafe place.

Breathwork for the Brain

Breathwork in general is deeper breathing. You decrease the amount of carbon dioxide in the body. As a natural mechanism, the body recreate carbon dioxide making the blood more alkaline. As the blood gets more alkaline, that’s what creates the shifts in the brain activities, such as quieting the default mode network (DMN).

The DMN is like the brain’s orchestra – exerts inhibitory influences on other parts of the brain. When the DMN is taken offline, the inhibitions are released giving you a healing experience from some of the things that have been long suppressed.

In Michael’s breathwork, one key step is to let whatever needs to happen happen. It’s the combination of physiological, psychological and the music used allow the breathwork experience to happen.

Knowing the right breathwork for you

Choose based on your purpose. The more you use a certain neural pathway, the stronger it gets. It will bring up what you’re ready to experience. Trust, surrender to the experience.

With breathwork, people feel they do have the answers within, that they have resources, and feel self-empowered and able to access creativity and intuition.

Benefits of Breathwork

Breathwork is not new. Conscious control of the breath can induce experience.

It is even reflected in languages. It’s rediscovered.
