There has been a lot of talk today in Groupchats about how young people are developing life-threatening lung cancer due to Juuling. Those falsehoods have found their way to NYU, Lowa and USC as well. The truth of the matter is that those rumors are absolutely untrue. According to experts, lung cancer could take several years to develop.
The perpetrators of these reports have manifested their allegations in different ways so as to make them sound believable. The most circulated rumor suggests that a 19-year old college student who is an addict of juul was recently diagnosed with life-threatening lung cancer. The thread further claimed that everyone is throwing away their juul.
Its ridiculous for anyone to believe such unjustified rumors. Any prudent person would immediately refute these allegations because they do not any foundation. In normal circumstances, a person’s lungs do not just go black in one year from using Juul.
Another screenshot being circulated around claims that three other students had cancer as result of juuling. Allegedly, the presence of an anti freeze in Juul was responsible for lung cancer as it caused bubbles on the user’s lungs.
While the story is in itself laughable, it has caused a stir among students across the U.S. Some students have responded by throwing away their juul and others have destroyed theirs. We sought the expert opinion of Dr Kien Vuu who is an expert in Medicine. We wanted to know the possibility of the diagnosis in the circulating screeshots being true. According the Dr Kien Vuu, it is dubious to suggest that Juuling can have short-term carcinogenic effects which can cause cancer.
As Dr. Kien Vuu explains, the ingredients of Juul capsules remain a mystery in most cases, meaning a user can suffer from bronchitis, bronchiolitis, or severe forms of lung injury. Moreover, whether the additional substances contents in Juul capsules have carcinogenic effects or not are still unknown. He concludes that it would not be possible to establish if the ingredients of Juul have carcinogenic or not.
So far, we do not really know the course of the allegations. However, we tend to believe that they were brought about by a recently released NYU investigation by DrMoon-Shong Tang which shows that vaping can caused cancer and hear attack.
