The pandemic is still here, roaming around somewhere outside our homes and if I will try to imagine a visual representation of it, it is probably looking for its next victim. It is saddening and most of us are understandably under stress. The fear of falling victim to something we cannot see is indeed very disheartening. Worrying and too much stress can trigger illnesses in our bodies. In fact, based on statistics, heart-related incidents have increased since the pandemic started.

As a doctor, my advice is to follow safety protocols and continue living healthily. I know I make it sound easy but it is not. Especially if you were living an unhealthy lifestyle. That is why in this episode I invited an expert who can shed some light more on Cardiovascular Health. Join us and know more about your heart.

" I would say in buying practice as and I think it reflects, but most people see, it's about a 60/40, maybe a 70/30 split, where the most of what you're seeing is patients who've had long standing ischemic heart disease, you know, lack of blood flow, coronary disease long standing. And then the other, you know, 30 40% is everything else." - Brian Lima, MD
